UFC Fight Calendar: June 2019

UFC's list of events for June 2019 features many fighting favorites as they face off in the octagon. From the double title fight on June 8th to the heavyweight bout on June 29th, June is packed full of exciting action. UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson vs Smith – Saturday, June 1 live from Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden. 


Sweden’s favorite fighting son returns to the Octagon on June 1, as Alexander Gustafsson faces fellow light heavyweight contender Anthony “Lionheart” Smith at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm. In his last performance in front of his fellow countrymen, Gustafsson scored a spectacular fifth-round knockout of Glover Teixeira. “The Mauler” will be chasing another crowd-pleasing win against Nebraska’s Smith, who has won three of his last four bouts, including finishes of Rashad Evans, Shogun Rua and Volkan Oezdemir.

Cejudo vs Moraes - Saturday June 8th at 10:00 PM EDT on Pay-Per-View (Prelims 8pm on ESPN)


A UFC championship doubleheader will headline the Octagon’s return to the Windy City on June 8, making Chicago’s United Center the place to be for mixed martial arts fans. In the main event, flyweight champion Henry Cejudo will attempt to follow up a stunning first-round knockout victory in his last performance when he battles Brazilian finisher Marlon Moraes for the vacant UFC bantamweight crown. Plus, striking specialist Valentina Shevchenko defends her flyweight title for the first time against Ohio’s Jessica “Evil” Eye, who is undefeated since returning to 125 pounds.

Moicano vs The Korean Zombie - Saturday June 22nd at 7:00 PM EDT on ESPN+


An intriguing matchup of featherweight contenders will headline the UFC’s first trip to South Carolina on June 22, as “The Korean Zombie,” Chan Sung Jung, battles Renato Moicano at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville. Brazil’s Moicano has won two of his last three heading into his clash with “The Korean Zombie,” with victories over Calvin Kattar and Cub Swanson putting him deep in the featherweight title conversation. But looking to put a dent in those plans will be South Korea’s Jung, who is coming off one of the best fights of 2018, a November clash with Yair Rodriguez that added to the Zombie’s legend as one of the premier action fighters of this era.

UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs The Korean Zombie – Saturday, June 22 live from Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. 




Ngannou vs Dos Santos - Saturday June 29th at 8:00 PM EDT on ESPN+


Two of the heavyweight elite square off on June 29, as former world champion Junior Dos Santos continues on his road back to the top against feared knockout artist Francis Ngannou. Looking to extend his three-fight winning streak, Brazil’s Dos Santos has been showing prime form as of late. To keep his championship dreams alive, he will have to get past Ngannou, who is attempting to follow up back to back first-round knockouts of Curtis Blaydes and Cain Velasquez with another spectacular finish. Plus, Brazilian groundfighting wizard Demian Maia faces off with surging contender Anthony Rocco Martin.
